The second match of the day at the 1981 Firestone Tournament of Champions featured Earl Anthony vs. Pete Couture.  Anthony fresh off his opening match defeat of Mark Roth was trying to win his 3rd career Firestone.  It was a historical match that needed the first double roll off in PBA history to decide the winner. It was a close match all the way. In Couture's critical 10th frame, a fan yelled out, and broke his concentration. Anthony could not catch any breaks leaving a stone 9 and a solid 7 in the 10th to force the tie. I hope you enjoy all 3 parts of the match.
